game basics & my responsibilities:
- designed game around the following four constraints
- childhood memories
- unilateral (3v1) player interaction
- press your luck (major mechanic)
- some sort of race aspect
- created the rules of the game, focusing on clarity and ease of understanding
- took detailed notes during each playtest for immediate player reactions, issues that arose, and possible solutions
- carefully created a playtest survey to assess the game’s success
- compiled playtest survey results and presented findings to the group for next steps
- maintained detailed design journal to summarize game progress through the development cycle
- designed clone question cards to be on theme with game & came up with unique and interesting prompts for each
our group presenting to the class, among 6 other teams out of 17 that were chosen to share our work
