game basics & my responsibilities:

  1. focused project goal on modding Monopoly into a card game, and encorporating a museum theme
  2. designed rule book for the game, focusing on simple, easy to follow instructions and catching edge cases
  3. planned & facilitated multiple internal and external playtests to perfect balancing of economy system & game mechanics
  4. took detailed notes during each playtest for immediate player reactions, issues that arose, and possible solutions
  5. explicitly communicated with other team members with player feedback, for deciding next steps
  6. met four different development deadlines, using playtest survey data and player feedback to evolve the game’s design
